Dear Video Game Players

• It’s called “gil”, not “gold”. It’s always been “gil”. Never once do you ever read “gold” as the form of currency.
• It’s called “rupees”, not “rubies” or “crystals”. They are a currency made of glass. It’s always been “rupees”.
• It’s called “rings”, not “coins”. Seriously, they don’t look anything like coins. The game says “rings” right in the top left corner. Can’t you read?
• In 3D Mario and Sonic games, you need those goddamn coins and rings, respectively, to survive. The same people who can’t get the name of the currency right don’t understand that that same currency is their HEALTH.

I simply don’t get people who play games but don’t pay attention. Please, game developers, continue to make games more advanced and intuitive so that they are impossible for clueless people to play. I don’t play games to waste time. I play them because I love them. Games aren’t just entertainment. They are an artistic experience. Thank you.
